A professional environment built for serious work. Dark, focused, and uncompromisingly clean.
Iron & Ink occupies 3,200 square feet in Brooklyn's Dumbo neighborhood. The space was designed from the ground up for tattooing — not converted from a retail unit, not a shared space.
Four private artist stations. A dedicated consultation room. A client lounge with curated music and a proper espresso machine. This is where serious work gets done.
We hold ourselves to medical standards. Your safety is not a selling point — it's a baseline requirement.
Every needle is sterile, single-use, and disposed of immediately after your session. No exceptions.
All reusable equipment is sterilized in our medical-grade autoclave before and after every client.
All surfaces are disinfected with hospital-grade solutions between every client. Our studio is inspected quarterly.
All artists hold current bloodborne pathogen certifications and NYC health department tattoo licenses.
We use only vegan, EU-certified inks. No heavy metals, no cheap pigments — only the best for your skin.
Each artist has a fully private station. Your session is your space — no audience, no distractions.
We invest in the best equipment available. Not because clients can see it — but because it directly affects the quality of your tattoo and the precision of your artist's work.
Arrive 10 minutes early. You'll be greeted, offered water or coffee, and given time to review your design before we begin.
Your artist will present the final design on a tablet. We make any last-minute adjustments together before stenciling.
The stencil is applied and positioned. You'll see exactly where and how the tattoo will sit before any ink touches skin.
We work at your pace. Breaks are always available. Music, podcasts, or silence — whatever makes you comfortable.
Your tattoo is wrapped with medical-grade film. You'll receive full written aftercare instructions and a follow-up card.
